We've had a slew of snow this year, but most of it has been expected. This snowstorm caused a near white-out, yet no one had a clue it was even coming!

Today I had a chance to try out the new snowblower that I recently obtained. It is a hand-me-down, but works a lot easier than the old shovel does...

Lilo returns! This little string toy is the only way we can get our over-active naughty kitty to sit nicely on the couch. It really occupies her attention and calms her down.

Our sump pump is running in the big January melt like nothing else. But, due to a design flaw we can't run the pump outside in the winter -- the line freezes up. So, here I show you the alternate path of sump pumping...

Today was another foggy day here in central Wisconsin. It started with rare January thunderstorms. It ended with me filling the bird feeder in the backyard....

Today the theme of the day was fog... With the weather warming up, all of the snow melting quickly away and a dampness in the air, it was the perfect storm for these conditions. So, I headed outside to take a look at the fog and to listen to the newly melted water falling from the downspouts...

Day Two

Today we introduce a new character that i have a feeling will pop up on these videos with a bit of regularity. This is Lilo... and she usually spends her days chasing these little foil balls. Of course, when I want her to, she's more interested in the camera...

Day One

So, this might be a dumb idea. Or, could it be fun? If nothing else, this site will be an exercise and an experiment. Can I create and upload a different snippet of daily life every day? For a week? For a month? For a year? I guess we will find out. I won't set any goals or expectations. Anyone who happens upon this blog will see just how long this can last right along with me.

The tools? A simple digital camera's video function, blogger and YouTube. We'll see where it goes.

Oh, and I don't expect brilliance. Daily life can be mundane, but that's what could make this interesting. Anything could count as a small slice of life -- from the boring to the exuberant, it's all fair play. We'll soon find out where it takes us.
